Historically Black Colleges and University’s (HBCU’s) are successful in producing outstanding student-athletes and athletic programs and have made great strides for over 90 years. But during most of that time, schools were underrepresented in their coverage by the media. From the Press Box to Press Row is the only national sports talk show whose primary focus will be on Black college sports. The hour-long show will range from previewing upcoming athletic events, discussing the hottest and sometimes controversial topics related to Black college athletics, to interviewing the most prominent Black college student-athletes, coaches and former Black college players and coaches now playing or coaching in the pros, to the fresh and sometimes controversial opinions from the host. The hour-long show begins August 20, 2005 and will be a year round show on radio and the Internet.
